When I have tried to do an exchange everywhere is always booked. When we bought, it was required to do automatic payment withdraw each month. If we cancel that through our bank, my concern is not only will our credit be ruined but that they could come back on us with a lawsuit of their own. Any thoughts???? Please contact me at denslowjennifer@yahoo.com, as we are interested in a class action suit as well. Thank you!

Re: Westgate Resorts – Is it a scam?

Please send me info also babeekate8@gmail.com we also purchased at the westgate towers in vegas.. $14,000. Never rooms available when we book then we booked a room at planethollywood and they "upgraded" is to the towers.. So theh rent it out as a hotel.. Thats why when we want our "free" week its never available.. So we pay 370 a month and they r making a killing off of us when we have to double pay to stay in vegas. Not ok!!!!

Re: Awards Verification Center aka Silverleaf Resorts aka – that blue postcard in the mail!

they push because they have to! They are required to...it's in the job description. And those charghes you pay are taxes on the prize dumbass....you pay taxes on everything..thats how america works...

Re: Awards Verification Center aka Silverleaf Resorts aka – that blue postcard in the mail!

I used to work there and let me tell you...the people that "harrass" you over the phone are JUST DOING THEIR JOB. They are people like everyone else and get bitched at over the phone all day long just to barely make a quota that they are required to meet or they get fired. Telemarketing isn't easy because we have to constantly listen to pleople yelling, throwing nasty words, our managers getting on to us for not fighting for calls. And here's what they are calling you for. AN APPOINTMENT! It's just a drive out to the resort to see it and take tour and they try and sell you a timeshare BUT you DON'Y HVAE TO BUY IT!!!!!! They try to get you to buy into it and if that sort of pestering bothers you then why did you to to the freaking resort for the tour in the first place?! The people(I'm talking the little men and women underneath the bigwigs who make a ton of money) are just like you and have families to feed and take care of and bills to pay. We don't need rude people yelling at us and reporting us just because you can't say the magic words. "Take me off your list" say it nicely or without rudeness or just say it and they will take you off the list no matter what. I was required to by law, and if someone else called you again it was because someone at the company thought you were rude and needed to be called again just to piss you off and they didn't mark the call right to be taken off. If whoever you talked to or hung up on didn't listen to your request then it's on them...not the poor individual who happened to call you up again when the call got put in their system. Everybody loves to hate telemarketers but at least Silverleaf doesn't outsource and give hardworking Americans' jobs to Inidians or some other country American companies outsource to. Telemarketing was listed 3rd in the list of jobs that pay more than people think. So next time someone calls you from the "Awards Verification Center" and tries to give their speech....it's their job and they have to say whats written in front of them...by law. Saying "don't call me" or "leave me alone" or hanging up just throws your number back into the system to be called again later. Say Take me off your list and they won't call you ever again. And as for the reporting the company because of getting calls again. THINK AGAIN next time you go to a major show, event, or mall and fill out one of those raffles to win something because that's how they get your info. Look on the back and it says this is an advertisement solicitation/promotion for Silverleaf Resorts. YOU idiots filled out your own telemarketing solicitations. As for the not buying anything, yeah...you have to pay taxes JUST like you would if you won the lottery. If ylou choose chash option for the lottery, you pay pretty much half of that in taxes to Uncle Sam....You have to pay the same taxes with any prize won. So quit demonizing the company just because they bother you on the phone. It's their job and it's one that no one wants to do, but they do it because they have responsibilities. The trash guy probably doesn't like going elbows deep in people garbage but he does it because he has bills to pay and responsibilities. If they call you, ask them to stop after they verify the information on the entry form and say please take me off your list. If the person you're talking to is a good employee they will respect your request and mark it in the system. You're more likely to get called again if you are rude or mean or sarcastic or throw nasty words when you ask to be taken off the list. No one likes to be ridiculed and belittled especially when they have to take that crap from people they don't even know all day just to make enough money to barely cover bills. So think about this next time you go all out and bitch at a Silverleaf telemarketer or mess with them. They have your number right infront of them and with the press of one button can throw your number righ back to be called again and could very easily tell their coworkers your name and number and say keep calling this person, they are assholes. So have some courtesy for the American men and women that do the shit jobs no one wants to do ok?

Re: Silverleaf Resorts isnt all that bad?

I keep hearing people driving 2+ hours to get to one of their resorts.
